RADIO FREQUENCY EXPOSURE AND HEALTH

Mobile phones and other wireless communications offer convenience and a sense of personal security for millions of people around the world. In order to function, all mobile phones use radio waves, or radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields, to send and receive speech, text messages, pictures and other data.

While the available scientific evidence does not show that any health problems are associated with the radio waves from mobile communications, some people express their concerns. These concerns have been addressed by health authorities around the world, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
