Ericsson Australia is offering a variety of technical and non-technical positions across various sites.

 

GSDC – 20 positions

The Global Services Delivery Centre positions will be based at Broadmeadows, Melbourne. These positions will involve telecommunications network integration, systems integration, network support and software upgrades both in Australia and supporting the Asia Pacific region. Availability to travel to the Asia Pacific region is a requirement.

 

For GSDC positions, a particular emphasis will be placed on UNIX, programming, telephony and IP networks.
Candidates must be completing their degree qualifications this year in computer science, electrical/ electronic engineering, communications engineering or other closely related disciplines.

Professional Services – 10 positions


The Professional Services positions will be based at Broadmeadows and in the CBD, Melbourne and at North Ryde in Sydney. These positions will involve telecommunications consulting, design and training predominantly in Australia but occasionally supporting the Asia Pacific region.


For Professional Services positions, a particular emphasis will be placed on radio, circuit switched, packet switched and IP networks. Additional qualifications or experience in business, marketing or commerce are also of value.

 

Corporate – 5 positions

 

Our corporate positions will include opportunities in finance, marketing and other non-technical areas of the group. For these roles, candidates will be expected to have a degree in a relevant field, for example commerce or business, with exposure to a finance or marketing discipline an advantage.


Additional important selection criteria include:

  • Must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
  • High level academic achievement (academic transcripts or summary of results to date must be included)
  • Evidence of leadership roles and achievements at school, University or in outside interests
  • Evidence of the ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Evidence of customer focus
  • Track record of interacting and dealing with people
  • A balance of interests and involvements
