Ericsson Australia is offering a variety of technical and non-technical positions across various sites. You must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status to apply for these positions. You must also be available to commence work in February 2009.
Global Services Delivery Centre – Various Positions
These opportunities will involve telecommunications network integration, systems integration, network support and software upgrades both in Australia and supporting the Asia Pacific region. Availability to travel to the Asia Pacific region is a requirement.
For GSDC roles, a particular emphasis will be placed on UNIX, Internet and packet technologies, telephony and software configuration and testing. Candidates must be completing their degree qualifications this year in computer science, electrical/ electronic engineering, communications engineering or other closely related disciplines.
Local Services – Various Positions
Various Business Units within our Local Services organisation will be offering positions to Graduates in 2009. These units will include: Project Management, Network Consulting, Customer Support and Ericsson Education.
For some Local Services positions, the emphasis may be split between sound technical knowledge and the ability to think from a commercial perspective.
All graduates will be given a specific position and their development will be based on the competence needs for that Division (concentrating on technical training). This is supported by 'soft skills' training at different times throughout the year. The vast majority of Ericsson's 2009 Graduate positions will be based at our new Docklands office in Melbourne.
