At the Broadband World Forum in Berlin, Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) was awarded an InfoVision Award for its W25 fixed wireless terminal used for delivering broadband via HSPA. Ericsson W25 has been successfully deployed by Telstra Australia in their Next G Network providing customers and consumers with full service broadband.
Ericsson's W25 is a fixed wireless terminal for full service broadband over HSPA. The W25 support simultaneous broadband and voice communication, as well as fax and USB for printer and mass storage. The W25 enables service providers to offer comprehensive HSPA broadband as a complement to DSL, making it possible to offer a cost efficient wireless complement or delivering broadband services to the residential and enterprise market.
