The Full Service Broadband offering is an end-to-end solution for fixed and mobile broadband connectivity, and seamless switching between the two.

Emphasis is on utilizing broadband capabilities to capture growing market demand for high-speed internet, everywhere, as well as providing interactive services such as IPTV.

The Full Service Broadband portfolio includes fixed-access nodes, which support a wide range of access technologies, including DSL, point-to-point Ethernet over fiber and Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON). Additionally, mobile-access nodes based on WCDMA/HSPA/LTE enable unicast and Multimedia Broadcast Multimedia Service (MBMS) multicast capabilities.

At the edge of the network, Ericsson’s packet-core network ensures a resilient and expandable IP network design. Ericsson GPRS support nodes are widely deployed and have a reputation for delivering functional richness, superior performance and quality.

The SmartEdge family integrates three key functions into a single, multifunctional platform including edge routing, Ethernet aggregation, and subscriber management.

Our transport offering includes solutions for optical and microwave networks. Ericsson's Marconi product portfolio covers TDM, WDM and Ethernet transport, which is complemented by a common network-management system. The microwave offering, providing an end-to-end TDM and/or Ethernet backhaul solution, is an important part of our mobile-backhaul solution.

Ericsson is a true end-to-end supplier when it comes to IMS. The Full Service Broadband portfolio includes IMS device-client support, business solutions such as IMS Common System, a broad range of IMS applications and professional services based on our extensive telecom and IT knowledge and expertise.
