Fourth Generation IP Mobile Backhaul Roadshow shows RLAM customers why Ericsson is leader in mobile broadband internet communications.
Presenters Gustav Rydén, Sales Development Manager, Microwave & Mobile Backhaul, and Johannes Bergling, Strategic Program Manager, are preparing for the final leg of the Fourth Generation IP Mobile Backhaul Roadshow in Buenos Aires in August.
Buenos Aires is the fourth and final roadshow destination of the four-city tour that gave Ericsson an opportunity to present the latest in mobile broadband internet communications.
Brazil was the first to host this key presentation in May, followed by Mexico the first week of June and Panama in early July.
One of Ericsson’s customers at the Panama roadshow was Open Mobile, Puerto Rico’s largest mobile operator. “Ericsson’s Mobile IP Backhaul (IPBH) solution goes hand-in-hand with Open Mobile’s plans for Ericsson’s current and future network,” said Luis Omar Rivera, Open Mobile Network Engineering Director, after attending the event in Panama. “We deployed the IPBH solution for our brand new Ericsson LTE network. It was a perfect fit for our current 2G and EVDO 3G migration plan, and the common platform resulted in a substantial reduction in operating expenses in the long run as we were able to eliminate most of the TDM traffic hurdles and leased line circuits.”
