Ericsson Widget Awards
Develop your way to fame
Welcome to the Ericsson Widget Awards – an opportunity for you as a developer to showcase your widget designs and a chance to win up to EUR 15,000 in prize money.
The competition, which is organized by Ericsson in cooperation with Opera Software, kicks off on July 13. The aim is to find the best and most innovative widgets, so get ready to shift your creativity and app-development skills into high gear.
Widgets submitted to the Ericsson Widget Awards will be distributed through multiple channels, which means widespread exposure to actual users… and fame for the award-winning developers.
Give it a shot: create – develop – submit!
What’s in it for you?
The individual or team that submits the winning widget will receive EUR 15,000. The second prize is EUR 10,000 and the third prize is EUR 5000. The winners will be announced on the Ericsson Widget Awards website and will receive their prizes at a ceremony at Ericsson headquarters in Kista, Sweden, on December 15, 2010.
This will also present an opportunity for the winners to get exposure in Ericsson publications, have meetings with Ericsson management members and visit the Ericsson Experience Center.
