The roadshow has crossed the Gulf of Finland and arrived in Tallinn, where our truck just fits perfectly at the recently opened, magnificent Freedom Square. During some of the busiest days of the whole Nordic and Baltic tour, we have enjoyed several inspiring and vivid customer sessions as well as a visit from local colleagues who have partly designed some of the solutions shown in the truck. Our friends at Sony Ericsson have introduced nice new stuff to Estonian public next to “Our Place”, and what better way to round up our stop than an informal get together for all the guests we’ve had the pleasure to meet here in Tallinn.

India BUS Update

The BUS ( “Broadband on the road” ) is back from its sojourn in Mumbai. It says “Mumbai Meri Hai! ” .

The Mumbai leg of the campaign has been very successful where we engaged over 850 visitors spread over 7 customer locations.

The Delhi leg of the BUS campaign kick-starts on 16th Nov. This last leg of the campaign will conclude at the India Telecom Fair at Pragati Maidan being organised between 3 to 5 December 2009. The weather in the the capital is chill & cosy unlike the sunny, humid days at Mumbai.

6th Nov

At Reliance, Navi Mumbai campus with over 160 visitors spending quality time with us.

5th Nov

At Tata, south Mumbai office with over 100 visitors engaged in our Multimedia story.

29-30 Oct

At Idea corporate office with over 180 visitors, engaged in what we had to show & tell.

Roadshow in Finland

The tour has entered Helsinki, where “Our Place” is parked next to the white marble Finlandia Hall, one of the city’s most predominant landmarks. None of the Finnish main operators want to miss the opportunity to visit Ericsson’s rolling demo center and cosy livingroom setting. The chill out area outside, however, remains quite empty during our stay, as it got a bit too well chilled - even for Finnish taste…

NOBA update

28th of October
After three days at the STCC Racing track in Gothenburg with a variety of different visitors, the roadshow is now moving further south. Malmoe is our next stop

30th of October
On a beautiful spot in front on the Malmö Börshus the roadshow carries on, the large truck makes people make an extra stop, looking at “Our Place” and wondering what Ericsson is up to. A special group of 10 people attended the show with focus on Deep Fiber access.

2nd of November
Copenhagen, parked at Charlottehaven in the Eastern part of Copenhagen, we faced the autumn. Raining cats and dogs, the truck was the venue for 25 invited guests from press and two of the larger Danish Operators.

4-6th of November
We are now in Oslo, parked at Telenor Arena at Fornebu, the winter has started in Norway and a cold freezing wind and snow is a reality. Here is Olso we will host press, customers and special invited guest from a large Tele Media event at Holmenkollen.

Ericsson Broadband Roadshow- INDIA - on its Mumbai leg

The BSNL Santa cruz office has a sprawling compound with green cover all around. Its “nature in the middle of a concrete jungle”. Over 50 visitors including employees from MTNL prabha devi office spent good quality time with our demonstrators

27 Oct

The BUS this time was parked on the Bandra - Kurla expressway. The response from Tata Communications office was excellent. Over 40 visitors spent a good time on the bus.

26 Oct

The BUS got its parking location; a difficult real estate issue in most of urban India, in the Etisalat office premises. Response from our target audience was excellent. Over 75 visitors spent quality time understanding the demos.

22-23 Oct

We spent two good days at the Vodafone campus. Response from all quarters of the organisation was overwhelming. Over 200 visitors were clocked.

Ericsson Roadshow now in Gothenburg

During the weekend the Ericsson Roadshow truck rolled into the south of Sweden and is now situated in the harbour of Gothenburg, in conjunction to a EU high level meeting.

On October 27-28 around 40 customers and partners from Sweden as well as 100 EU delegates will visit the truck to listen to seminars and get demonstrations.

Next stop will be Malmö on October 30 where we will meet with Swedish and Danish customers. For more information about the tour schedule, see previous article.

Ericsson Roadshow rolls into the Nordic & Baltic countries

The Ericsson Road Show, Our Place, will start its Nordic & Baltic tour in Sweden (Göteborg) on October 27 and finish in Latvia (Riga) on November 17.

The event will be a mix of seminars and hands-on demonstrations. Convergence, with high focus on both fixed and mobile broadband will be the main topic - supported by the important areas of content and services on the broadband, the multimedia services aiming at the specific markets. The truck offers an overview of the major part of our solutions, a set up you would normally have to travel to at larger events, but this time we will roll it into your town.

We are pleased to meet a major part of our customers and partners, along the route from Gothenburg, over Malmö, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, Tallinn and last but not least Riga.

Ericsson Roadshow - INDIA

Staff at the Titanium office ,in Mumbai got an early glipmse of the Bus parked in their service lane.

From 10:30 am onwards ,the Bus was open to the staff and KAM teams. Over 100 staff members trooped in and out with most of them getting a taste of the demos.

There was a lot of excitement around the experience and good feedback received from key account teams.

Tomorrow, the roadshow begins its customer journey with its first halt at Vodafone corporate office.

The “Broadband on the road” Bus was in a rehearsal mode, where staff from the Delhi Offices was invited to Demo sessions. Over 250 people have visited the bus in a space of 4 days.

It left Delhi on 14th Oct. and arrived in Mumbai this weekend traveling the distance during the Diwali festivities to be in Mumbai after everyone returns back to office. It has already completed the “painful” OCTROI process with the Tax authorities with success.

The first halt will be at the Ericsson Titanium office, tomorrow. Here Ericsson staff in Mumbai will get an opportunity to get a slice of the experience we plan to take to various customer offices. The campaign officially kicks off with the first visit at the Vodafone corporate office.

Ericsson Road show - INDIA

On 5th morning at dawn, the “Broadband on the Road” bus rolled into the Ericsson Forum (our headquarters in India) premises and caught the attention and fancy of the early commuters on the road. Colleagues arriving after a long weekend were also surprised to see an Ericsson Bus parked on the lawn besides the office. Surprised perhaps by how we got the permission to trample the grass !

Gopal & Abhimanyu from the Tactical Marketing group were there to greet the bus and co-ordinate the morning logistics. The crew from the Kista experience center arrived this morning and they have their task cut out… To set up the demos and connect it to the right cables that are concealed around the bus. The set-up & testing will take a couple of days and it is planned to have it readied for staff visits early next week. There are some design changes that are being incorporated later tonight. Our agency will do the graveyard shift and complete that last task that is pending on their part.

The digital communication campaign both for the internal & external audiences starts today. Mailers & online banners have been triggered off.

On day one, we are on target …….Watch this space for details on progress.
