Network IQ Events is great for proactive network and service management.  At the same time the insights it brings can be used for a variety of novel problems from following up on VIP users and enterprises to tracking how well roaming services are working.

What is Ericsson Network IQ Events

Ericsson Network IQ Events is a service management application for multi-vendor and multi-technology environments. It collects and processes event based data from different parts of the network allowing deep analysis of service behaviour and related network performance – with the ability to isolate events to specific terminal types, individual subscriber sessions and individual nodes and location. It also provides ranking in multiple dimensions to allow users to take action on a priority based.

This makes Network IQ Events a very powerful tool for detailed troubleshooting, and for proactive service and network assurance. It can highlight problems not visible by other means and greatly simplifies fault location in end to end services.

Because Network IQ Events uses streaming event data direct from the nodes it removes the need for dedicated probes. This can save significant capex and operating costs for operators and gives access to insights not possible with just probe data.
