To compete profitably in the fast-changing mobile broadband market, telecommunication operators need to fight the forces of commoditization.

• Ericsson has been selected by Mobily to upgrade its Evolved Packet Core (EPC) networks in western region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using the SSR 8000 family of Smart Service Routers
• Consumers will be able to consume four times the current amount of data on the enhanced capacity network
• As part of the agreement, Ericsson will also provide systems integration, design and managed services

In a significant step toward its goal of providing the world’s most complete and flexible mobile commerce service, Ericsson today announced a partnership with Eurogiro that will allow more than 60 major banking groups and postal organizations worldwide to transact across Ericsson’s M-Commerce Interconnect service. This partnership adds global reach and flexibility to Ericsson’s m-commerce solutions.
