Mobile communications in Myanmar are underdeveloped compared to other countries in the region. In a new report, Ericsson explores the socioeconomic impact that telecommunications could bring to a country that is just reemerging in the global economy.

• Third edition of Ericsson’s Networked Society City Index ranks New York, Stockholm and London highest in terms of their ability to use ICT to benefit business
• Individuals, rather than businesses or institutions, drive development resulting from ICT maturity
