The Ericsson Developer Program’s interoperability test environment is up and running. All members of the Ericsson Developer Program are welcome to use it to show that their applications have undergone preliminary integration with Ericsson equipment.
Ericsson Developer Program’s interoperability test (IOT) supports the establishment of a web-based directory of applications developed by community members.
The IOT is divided into three levels: basic, committed and strategic.
The basic level is open to all applications from Ericsson Developer Program members. The application is tested only against the Ericsson IMS core.
The committed level is open to applications that have successfully completed the basic level tests. At this level, the application must undergo additional test cases involving one or two Ericsson nodes that will be jointly determined by Ericsson and the member.
The strategic level is open to selected applications that have successfully completed the committed level tests. At this level, the member and Ericsson will jointly develop the test cases, which will include full integration with all required Ericsson equipment. The member will integrate on-site at the Ericsson global IMS expert center in Montreal, Canada.
When the tests are successfully completed, the application will be marketed on the Ericsson Developer Program website, where the IOT level will be indicated. The results of the test cases will be stored by Ericsson and available to Ericsson sales channels, if agreed by the member.
Members are allowed to use an Ericsson Developer Program IOT mark, indicating the IOT level, in their external communication for successfully tested applications. Ericsson may promote successfully tested applications.
If you are a member of the Ericsson Developer Program, the IOT is now at your disposal. Apply first by proposing a test specification and signing a test agreement here
