The latest update of Telecom web services is a beta release (v4.1) to support location capabilities including API extensions for REST-client style with JavaScript Object Notation with Padding (JSON P) as well as REST-client redirect style.

This new functionality enables service mashups such as the embedded location web widget shown by Ericsson at the 2009 JavaOne conference. All the features of Telecom web services v4.0 are still available in the new beta release.
