Ericsson IPX won the prize for Best Transactions Provider at the 2009 Mobile Entertainment (ME) awards held in London.

Ericsson fought off more than 50 other aggregators, including major competitors such as Mbox and Netsize. The ceremony, hosted by Mobile Entertainment magazine, took place at the Royal Garden Hotel on October 1. Seen as a way to recognize excellence in innovation and creativity in the mobile content sector, the event is one of the highlights of the mobile content industry calendar. Earlier this year, Ericsson IPX was also awarded the prize of Best New Marketing Campaign Using Messaging at the 2009 Global Messaging awards.
