Ericsson Developer Suite is a single source for tools, APIs and support for integrating telecom capabilities into your applications.
The suite is a portfolio of tools including SDKs, APIs, code examples and documentation. Its functionality supports both client and server-side applications and includes APIs for communications services such as presence, chat, SMS send and receive, MMS, location and group management.

With Ericsson Developer Suite, you can use a phased approach to application development. The suite offers emulators which make it possible to build applications locally and without network connectivity and there are built-in tools for testing and de-bugging as well.

The flexibility of Ericsson Developer Suite means that it can be used by developers of all types - from long-tail developers to larger, full-sized companies.

Components
Ericsson Developer Suite includes several tools that are available for download (separately):

  • IMS SDK (SDS) - emulators for IMS core and enablers, client-side support via JSR 281 API making it possible to run applications on non-IMS phones, and server-side support via JSR 116/289.

    Download IMS SDK

  • TWS SDK - APIs and emulators for SMS/MMS/WAP-push and location capabilities via ParlayX.

  • Telecom REST SDK - REST APIs for SMS/MMS/WAP-push and location via REST interface.
