The SDS PGM simulation includes presence, group, data management, and generic functions such as publication and storage of presence data for presentities and the possibility for watchers to subscribe to presence notifications. In addition to the basic functionality, the SDS PGM includes several other functions to support application development and enhancement.

If you want to use the PGM graphical interface, you must install the new services.sar file provided on this page. The services.sar file is read when SailFin is started. If SailFin is already running, you must stop it before proceeding:

1. Download the services.zip file to your computer and extract the services.sar.        
2. Go to the autodeploy directory. By default, the full path is
   C:\Ericsson\SDS4.1FD1\Simulators\sailfin\domains\ericsson.com\autodeploy\
   Adjust as per you installation.        
3. Replace the current services.sar file with the one you have downloaded.        
4. Start SailFin for the changes to take effect.
   You can now use the PGM as described in the SDS 4.1 Developer's Guide
