Test your applications
Here you find information on how to test your mobile pages during development.
Step one:
Verify your pages locally by connecting to a normal browser supporting XHTML-MP to validate the XHTML-MP tags. You can for instance use the Opera browser or the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Step two:

Use a mobile browser emulator to test the behaviour of the application. Use for instance the following emulator: Openwave phone simulator.

In the Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit you can also find a browser emulator.

Step three:

Use the dotMobi test tools:

Check how your site will look in a mobile device using their online browser emulator.

Check if your code is consistent with dotMobi best practices.

Step four:

Test on a real mobile device with a browser supporting XHTML-MP. To make it simple, use the WAP gateway from your mobile network operator.

If you don’t have a DNS name for your server that is connected towards internet or a static IP address, you can for instance use the services of DynDNS.
