Interview with Marita Hellberg

I’ve been with Ericsson for a number of years. It is truly a global company to grow with; a company that lets us all develop and build careers. Ever since our founding father Lars Magnus Ericsson first set up his business in 1876, the company has been part of and an active driver in the constant evolution that characterizes our modern society. And that is our aim and our vision – to be a prime driver in the all-communicating world which not only delivers customer value and benefits, it also gives our employees the opportunity for life long learning and development.

Employer of choice

The German research company Trendence's yearly survey (published July 2009) puts Ericsson at the top of the wish list for Swedish students studying within ICT related fields; closely followed by SonyEricsson ranked as number 2. ICT students are less worried for the future careers and opportunties compared to students within finance; and Trendence confirms that the ICT students have a more favorable situation today in Europe compared to many other students about to enter the job market.
