How to get started
The recruitment process starts when you apply for a specific job via Careers at www.ericsson.com or register your personal profile. It might also be that you have participated in a recruitment event arranged by Ericsson and met with a recruiter from the company.
A good starting point before you apply for a job is to familiarize yourself with our website to get to know who we are, what products and services we deliver, our ways of working and corporate values, our people and who we would like to employ.
What happens next?
When you and other candidates have sent in your applications online, managers and recruiters will make their initial selection. Those candidates who best match the criteria for the position in question will move on to the next step in the process – the interview.
Managers and/or recruiters will contact the selected candidates for a short interview via telephone or in person. The aim of the interview is to decide whether candidates match the requirements for the position. For candidates, the interview is an opportunity to learn more about what it is like to work at
Ericsson.
Due to the large number of applications we receive, it is not possible for all candidates to speak to a recruiter. A large part of the communication in the recruitment process occurs via e-mail and you will only be contacted personally if you are considered for a certain position.
The duration of the selection and interview stages will depend on the number of applications that have been submitted.
Tips and tricks
- If you are interested in a specific job at Ericsson, please send in your application as soon as possible. If we find interesting candidates early in the process, we invite them to interview at once. This means that we do not wait until the final application date has passed to get started.
- Make sure your profile is always updated. In that way, you can quickly send in an application if a job comes up that you are interested in.
- If you have indicated in your profile that you would like to receive job posting notifications, you will receive an e-mail whenever a new position matching your profile has been posted.
- Ericsson works with online recruitment, which means there is no point in contacting local recruiters at the company directly. Of course, if a contact person is specified in the job ad, you can get in touch with that person to get further information.
