The aims of this workpackage are the planning of the processes and the products of the project.

Workpackage 2 - Achievements Of Mobile Learning Today
This book highlights best practice in mobile learning worldwide today. Examples of mobile learning in educational administration; in academic education; in art galleries and museums are included. There are extensive achievements in mobile learning by the University of Pretoria in South Africa who are probably the world leaders along with  Korea, Japan, China the USA.
Workpackage 3 - The Role of Mobile Learning in 27 EU States Today

This book is in-depth presentation of the status of mobile learning in European education today. Four levels of activity have been identified: 

  • good level of activity across all level of education (UK)
  • active participation in EU Projects
  • the first tentative steps are being taken in the field
  • no activity at all
Workpackage 4 - The Role of Mobile Learning in European Education

This document contains a programme for the introduction of mobile learning into mainstream European education and training. It is directed at stakeholders and decision makers in European education and training.

Workpackage 5 - The Pedagogical Aspects of Mobile Learning

This report examines the Pedagogical aspects of mobile learning. The research carried out by the partners of the project draws attention to the current learning methodologies, the current trends in mobile learning and discuses the proposal of a Mobile Learning framework.

Workpackage 6 - Adapting eLearning and Face-to-Face Material to mLearning

In this work package a series of systems which have achieved successful adaptation of face-to-face and e-learning materials to mobile learning are presented for study and use by institutions which are new to the field.

Workpackage 7 - Mobile Learning Course Development or Adaption, Teaching and Evaluation
The development or adaptation of mobile learning courses, their teaching to real students in real study situations and their evaluation in the five countries with scientifically designed joint questionnaires.
Workpackage 8 - Mobile Learning for the Disadvantaged and Disabled
The design of mobile learning specially suited to the disabled and to disadvantaged learners.
Workpackage 9 - Dissemination Plan
The focus of the dissemination plan is the insertion of mobile learning into European education, and the development of mobile learning as an accepted revenue stream for operators.
