In any consideration of The role of mobile learning in European education the question of the adaptation of face-to-face learning materials and e-learning course materials to mobile learning materials has an important role.

Schools, colleges and universities which are considering the adoption of mobile learning into their curricula need guidelines on how their existing materials can be used in mobile learning. It is important that they should be able to use existing materials and not have to commence the provision of mobile learning courseware from scratch.

In this work package a series of systems which have achieved successful adaptation of face-to-face and e-learning materials to mobile learning are presented for study and use by institutions which are new to the field.
