Judy Nix is EU Projects Manager for Ericsson Education. The main emphasis of the research currently being undertaken is on mobile learning. She is also involved in marketing of all solutions and products for Education.

Fintan Costello works as an elearning specialist and learning architect for Ericsson Education in Ireland. His background is in web development and design, focusing on the design of elearning content.

 

He is involved in support and technical implementation of Ericssons' LMS and LCMS solutions towards customers in the telecommunications industry, and has input into system design and content deployment.

Bernadette Simpson is a project manager and researcher on EU projects for Ericsson Education.

 

Her previous roles include Senior Training Consultant for 3G Radio Access Networks, involving the development and delivery of a portfolio of courses for Radio Designers and Engineers. She has also worked as Technical Author for 3G operators on one of the first global deliveries of 3G RAN trial Network.

Desmond Keegan is a former chief executive of the Italian Open University system, the Consorzio per l'Universita a Distanza. He has published widely on distance education and e-learning and managed a wide range of European Commission projects.

Nevena Mileva received her M.S. Degree in Electronics and the Ph.D. in Computer technologies in education from Technical University of Sofia, and the M.S. Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. She is currently associate professor and head of ECIT Department and lecturer on Information technology. She was engaged with utilization of IT in education, development of methods for Web-based engineering education, development of Internet-based PSS.

Aleksander Dye works at the R&D department of NKI Distance Education as researcher and system developer. His focus is web based development, mobile learning and development of SESAM - the LMS (learning management system) of NKI.

Torstein is professor of distance education at the Norwegian School of Information Technology and Director of R & D at NKI Distance Education. He has worked in distance education research since 1970.

Stein works as a web editor in the learning materials development group of NKI Distance Education.

Wenche works as a systems developer in the web development team of NKI distance Education.

Gabor Kismihok is a PhD student at the Department of Information Systems of Corvinus University of Budapest. He is working on adaptive assessment technologies in e-learning environments. He participated in several European e-learning and m-learning projects.

TecMinho, Guimaraes, Portugal

Ana Dias is the head of the e-learning Centre of TecMinho, with responsibilities for the promotion of e-Learning pedagogy and technologies within the on-campus and off-campus communities; the provision of continuous education services and consultancy based on e-learning; the development of multimedia technologies and information systems to support e-learning and innovation management, and the organisation of studies on e-learning, m-learning and information systems matters.

José Carvalho is an e-learning technical Executive at TecMinho, managing the development of technologies that can support e-learning and m-learning experiences. For the last 2 years, he has been involved in the development of joint TecMinho and University of Minho Open Educational Resources infrastructure and actively participating in the development of TecMinho e-learning Centre technological framework.

Jim has been the Treasurer of ECLO and Executive Board Member since 1996 and in conjunction with his wife, Brigitte, provides the ECLO network with their administrative support and event management.
