Tomas Boström joined Ericsson Wireless LAN Systems in 1999 to work as system manager, defining system and network requirements for wireless LAN systems. In 2000, he became program manager at the same unit. He holds a master of science degree in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
Tomas Goldbeck-Löwe is employed at Ericsson Research, IP Networks, where he works with mobility issues. Most recently he has been involved in several projects whose focus is on connecting wireless LAN to a cellular system. He joined Ericsson in 1995, working in development and system management. He has experience of most of the different wireless packet-data systems developed by Ericsson, including Mobitex, CDPD, PPDC GPRS, UMTS, CDMA2000 and wireless LAN. Tomas holds an M.S. degree from the Lund Institute of Technology.
Peter Granström, who has been with Ericsson for 17 years, is currently strategic product manager at Ericsson’s IP Multimedia system development unit. He has held various positions in the areas of IP telephony, intelligent networks, international gateway switching, global VPN networks, and AXE support processor development. He holds a master of science degree in engineering physics.
Per Gustås has worked as a consultant to Ericsson testing and designing transport networks, AXE platform software, test automation products, and several GSM and PDC OSS products. He joined Ericsson in 1999 and is currently system manager of the R-PMO. He holds an M.S. in computer science from the Linköping Institute of Technology.
Heino Hameleers is a senior product manager and master system engineer at Ericsson Eurolab Deutschland. He joined Ericsson in 1995 and has worked at Core Network Mobile Systems with the design, system management and product management issues of data communication, multimedia and core network architecture. Heino recently started working with multimedia strategies in the product management unit of the WCDMA/GSM mobile systems business unit. He holds an M.S. in computer science from the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
Christer Johansson joined Ericsson in 1970. He is a system expert of network and system architecture in charge of driving system management activities for the connectivity layer in third-generation mobile systems. Christer has previously held several line manager and expert positions within Ericsson development organizations, including AXE development, and tools and methods development.
Ralf Keller joined Ericsson Eurolab in 1996, working on wireless ATM systems and on mobile electronic commerce. He is currently a master researcher and team leader. His research examines multiaccess system integration in terms of service, network and business. Multiaccess integration includes the integration of wireless LANs and large user group support in third-generation systems. The main focus of his research is on the evolution of third-generation and future-generation systems. Ralf holds a Diploma degree in applied economics and computer science in 1991 and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Mannheim.
Per Magnusson joined Ericsson in 1993 and has worked as system architect developing solutions for testing the conformance and performance of Ericsson’s products for GSM, TDMA, PDC and WCDMA. In 1998, Per joined Ericsson Research as a senior specialist. His special area of focus is radio resource management. He holds an M.S. in applied physics and electrical engineering from Linköping Institute of Technology.
Sean Olson is one of the foremost experts on SIP in the Internet community. Until quite recently, he served as system manager at Ericsson’s IP Multimedia product development unit, working directly with the CSCF. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Texas A&M University.
Jan Oom worked many years as a consultant to Ericsson developing computer hardware and communications software products for the operation and management of data and telecommunication systems. He joined Ericsson Research in 1995 as a system architect working on the design of Ericsson’s WCDMA O&M system. He holds an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Mark Peck was previously the product manager responsible for the CSCF at Ericsson’s IP Multimedia product development unit. He holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Rice University, and a master of computer science degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Niclas Storm has worked as a software designer of various telecommunication applications for fixed and mobile networks. He joined Ericsson in 1998 and currently works with WCDMA RNC product development, primarily RNC system design of O&M mechanisms. He holds an M.S. degree in applied physics and electrical engineering from Linköping Institute of Technology.
