Aldo Bolle joined Ericsson in 1997, to work with product and system management of Ericsson's point-to-multipoint microwave system. From 1999 to 2001 he served as manager of the customer solution department. At present, he is a member of the strategic product management team at Ericsson Microwave Networks in Mölndal, Sweden. Before joining Ericsson, Aldo worked with SDH, ATM and network strategies at Telia Network Services. He holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in engineering physics from Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden.
Marco Coscia joined Ericsson in 1998 as a senior engineer supporting cdmaOne systems in San Diego. He then served as a manager in the project engineering group. In 2001, he joined Ericsson's C-RAN product management group as senior product manager. He is currently responsible for cdmaOne and CDMA2000 BSC products. His primary focus is on the BSC, BSC site solutions, and C-RAN transport solutions. Marco holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
Victor Ferraro-Esparza joined Ericsson in 1998 as a systems engineer working with subscriber databases for GSM, GPRS and WCDMA mobile systems. In 1999, he worked with GSM number portability solutions. He was also appointed to represent Ericsson's interests in numbering, naming and addressing, coordinating activities relating to technology, business trends, products, standardization and regulatory efforts within various standardization bodies. In 2001, he became a product manager of numbering, naming and addressing issues with the responsibility of evolving the subscriber database business in all-IP networks and the NDVAS portfolio. In 2002, he became strategic product manager of the Ericsson AAA Server. Victor holds a graduate degree in telecommunication engineering and telecommunication systems from Universidad Politécnica Valencia, Spain.
Michael Gudmandsen is currently strategic product manager of the Ericsson Telecom Server Platform. Since joining Ericsson, in 1991, he has also worked with open platforms for OSS development, OSS (TMOS) and O&M-related product development, and as strategic product manager of AXE element management and I/O products. He graduated from Chalmers University of Technology in 1983.
Bo Karlander is presently senior specialist in the WCDMA RAN user plane and transport network. Since joining Ericsson, in 1967, he has worked with system analysis and traffic dimensioning issues for the first generation of computer-controlled telephone systems and with system design of data communications and multiservice switching systems for private and public networks built on packet switching, frame relay and ATM technologies. He was also involved in the initial development phase of CPP, on which Ericsson's WCDMA radio access network nodes are built. Since 1997, he has worked with requirement specifications for, and the system architecture of, Ericsson's radio access network system for WCDMA. Bo holds an M.S. in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.
Kabir Kasargod is a product manager at Ericsson CDMA Systems in San Diego in charge of managing software feature requirements for Ericsson's first CDMA2000 software release. He joined Ericsson in 1999 as part of the Qualcomm acquisition. While at Ericsson, he has served in several positions including project engineer for Russian and Brazilian market deployments, senior engineer within the Latin America technical development group, and product manager for the Ericsson cdmaOne BSC. Kabir holds a B.E. in electrical engineering from VJTI-University of Bombay, India, and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.
Szilveszter Nádas joined Ericsson Research in 1998 to work at the Traffic Analysis and Network Performance Laboratory. Since 2000, the main focus of his work has been on modeling and analysis of the WCDMA radio access network. He holds an M.S. in electrical engineering from, and is also currently working toward a doctorate degree at, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary.
Andrea Nascimbene joined Ericsson, in 1991, to work with product marketing and system planning for private mobile radio. He later joined Ericsson Lab Italy and has been with the MINI-LINK BAS project since its start in 1998. He has worked as product manager and carried out extensive work in the area of standardization, serving as chairman in various ETSI and CEPT projects. He is currently line manager in charge of product and system management of MINI-LINK High Capacity terminals. He holds an M.S. in electronic and telecommunications engineering from the University of Pavia, Italy.
Kristofer Olsson is currently employed as a strategic product manager of the J-SCS at Ericsson's NDVAS product development unit. He joined Ericsson, in 1996, working as a product manager at Business Unit Japan for intelligent networks. He then took a position as strategic product manager within intelligent networks for GSM, and later, participated in developing the consultant program at Ericsson Mobile Systems. Kristofer graduated from the Linköping Institute of Technology with a degree in industrial engineering and management.
Sandor Rácz joined Ericsson in 2000 and is currently a research fellow at the Ericsson Traffic Analysis and Network Performance Laboratory in Budapest, Hungary. His research interests include modeling and analysis of communication systems. Sandor holds an M.S. in electrical engineering with emphasis on telecommunications from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary.
Jonas Renius, who joined Ericsson in 1969, is currently product manager of transport functions in the WCDMA radio access network. Since 1990, his chief area of focus has been on ATM. In 1995, for example, he helped define CPP, and he has since served as product manager of ATM products and of CPP and transport networks. Prior to 1990, he held numerous project and product manager positions within hardware and system design, primarily relating to PBX and broadband systems.
Mike Sheppard joined Ericsson in 1997, initially managing the deployment of cdmaOne infrastructure as part of the BSS project management group. In 1998, he was placed in charge of all project deployments in North America. In April 2000, he was appointed release manager of cdmaOne software products. He recently served as senior product manager in charge of cdmaOne software products and CDMA2000 Release P2. Mike holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Georgia Southern University and an MBA from Troy State University in Birmingham, Alabama.
