Leading the development of LTE technology, Ericsson is taking LTE to the next level. An advanced 4x4 MIMO antenna scheme is part of this development, yielding significant improvements in cell center and cell edge data rates. Test results for the 4x4 MIMO antenna schemes exhibit a download peak data rate of up to 300Mbps, twice that of first-generation 2x2 LTE systems.
