Busy travelers can easily receive information about flights, currencies, weather reports and much more from MobiMate's travel service WorldMate. MobiMate has been offering travel services for several years and is now increasingly targeting its products towards enterprises. 

Mobile application provider Wireless Independent Provider (WIP) has developed a concept for mobile guides and tourist information. The solution works for GPRS and 3G, and includes information, maps, a postcard service and the interactive game Search Finder.

Both Melbourne’s visitors and citizens can use Mcity's mobile guide to visit places they otherwise wouldn't find. The service is free and works particularly well for people who plan their evenings on the go, says Mcity’s Vincent Cheong.
