CODE OF BUSINESS ETHICS
CODE OF BUSINESS ETHICS

The Code of Business Ethics (the Code) summarizes the fundamental Group Policies and Group Directives governing our relationships to each other and to our stakeholders.

All employees and contractors must be aware of, and comply with, the rules and guidelines summarized in the Code. By reading and applying its content in their daily work, employees make their individual responsibility to ensure that business is conducted in accordance with the Code.

The Code contains rules for employees with regard to their interactions with colleagues, customers, suppliers, shareholders and other stakeholders, and includes:

  • Compliance with laws, rules and regulations, including insider-trading laws.
  • Protecting Ericsson's confidential, and other, proprietary information and that of its customers and suppliers.
  • Protection and proper use of company assets.
  • Treating Ericsson's employees with respect and protecting human rights.
  • Dealing with conflicts of interest.
  • Promoting full, fair, accurate, timely and understandable disclosure in financial reports and other public communications.
  • Protecting the environment.
  • Encouraging the reporting of any unlawful or unethical behavior.
  • All individuals performing work for Ericsson, whether as an employee, private contractor, employee or subcontractor of another company, should sign an acknowledgement that they have read and that they understand the Code or the consultancy company's equivalent code.

All Ericsson employees sign the form as part of the recruitment routine, and at regular intervals.
All contractors, employees or subcontractors of another company sign the form as part of the sourcing routine.
