December 2004: A devastating earthquake struck the area off Sumatra's northwestern coast on December 26. The earthquake also caused the creation of tsunamis that invaded the coasts of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, Thailand and Malaysia, and even east African countries have been affected.

September 2004: Ericsson Response worked together with the International Red Cross's PADRU in Panama before, during and after the hurricanes that devastated several Caribbean islands.
