July - September 2005: Ericsson Response is contributing to Beringia 2005 Arctic Research Expedition with a complete GSM system and volunteers to operate and maintain the system.

December 2004 - ongoing: A devastating earthquake struck the area off Sumatra's northwestern coast on December 26. The earthquake also caused the creation of tsunamis that invaded the coasts of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Maldives, Thailand and Malaysia, and even east African countries have been affected.
