The progress of the diversity work is measured continuously through the annual employee empowerment survey, Dialog. This measurement captures diversity seen at individual, workgroup and organizational levels as seen in the picture below.
Diversity results are strongly linked to the Human Capital Index (HCI) score in the Dialog survey. The value added questions on the workgroup/organizational level are strongly linked to health, operational excellence and motivation.
Diversity progress at the global level is monitored and reported in the following areas:
Recruitment
Percentage of employees related to diversity parameters.
Executive appointments
Percentage of top 200 executives among all executives related to diversity parameters.
Development
Percentage of potential executive resources, participation rates in executive development and assessment programs, and percentage of international assignees related to diversity parameters.
Retention
Retention rate for key positions related to diversity parameters.
Work environment
Total number of actions completed. Diversity index in the Dialog survey.
