"IMS - Raising the Service Game"
Telecom operators - both fixed and mobile - are facing increasing competition from new players such as peer-to-peer internet telephony providers who want to remodel the established telecoms value chain. IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) provides telcos with a way to raise their game and add value to their services so they retain and attract subscribers who might otherwise opt for services available over the unmanaged internet. Operators need to ensure that they can charge appropriately for this added value - both towards users and business partners.

From a revenue management perspective, IMS is just another way for operators to implement services: the basic needs and drivers are the same, and the end-to-end revenue management processes must work to secure profitable business. IMS will benefit operators by helping them offer better service packaging and charging.

This tutorial will show you how to develop your IMS business and to become more competitive.
