Innovating Energy Efficiency

Mobile communication is one of the most important technologies for contributing to social and economic development around the world. Optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability will not only reduce environmental impact, it will also cut network costs and help make communications more affordable for everyone.

Finding new, efficient energy solutions, such as optimal network designs, site optimization and alternative energy sources, also helps spread access to communications by opening up more options for the location of radio sites in a sustainable, low-impact way.
