OPEN OS AND BROADBAND SOLUTIONS FOR A MASS MARKET
Please join Robert Puskaric, Head of Ericsson Mobile Platforms (EMP) on a briefing on Ericsson’s strategy for Open OS, HSPA evolution and LTE mobile platforms. You will learn about our cooperation with Texas Instruments (TI), which will enable all device manufacturers to offer advanced Open OS handsets for both the high-end and the mid-range market by combining small and power efficient 3G modems from EMP with high-performance OMAP™ applications processors from TI. The partnership enables handset manufacturers to deliver an enhanced mobile entertainment and multimedia experience to consumers around the world.
HSPA with speed of 7.2 Mbps is now being launched. Robert Puskaric will talk more about our HSPA Evolution and LTE mobile platforms including EMP´s dedicated offering for the mobile broadband market, which enables our customers to shorten time to market and match operator requirements.

ERICSSON’S PRESENCE AT MOBILE ASIA CONGRESS
Ericsson’s stand will be located in Hall D (Stand F02) and we are also present in the HSPA pavilion (Stand C02).
At our demos, Ericsson’s visitors will have the opportunity to experience the latest mobile TV and mobile music applications, IPTV, and other attractive solutions such as multiplayer gaming. From the technology point of view, you can view HSPA, LTE, GPON/VDSL2 including Redbacks Smartedge router, IMS, IPTV, Femto-cells HW and more.
