Ericsson’s Marconi OMS family participates in Mobile Backhaul Interoperability events 2008

Thanks to the latest Packet Transport features of the Marconi OMS 2400 (in this case T-MPLS), Ericsson is now part of the Mobile Backhaul multi-vendor network organized in 2008 by EANTC (European Advanced Networking Test Center) and supported by the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) and the IP/MPLS Forum.

The Marconi OMS family is part of the Ericsson mobile backhaul solution, which offers a complete end to end architecture for RAN backhaul, including optical and microwave transport.

The multi-vendor network already tested and presented during the hot-staging event in Berlin on January 17 at EANTC lab, will be showcased at the following events:

  • MPLS and Ethernet World Congress (Paris, February 5-9)
  • Mobile World Congress (Barcelona, February 11-15)
  • CTIA (Las Vegas, April 1-3)
