





Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has won a 2009 TelcoTV Vision Award for its Ericsson Connected Home Gateway. The TelcoTV Vision Awards recognize the most innovative and “visionary” products, services, or applications announced in the communications industry in the past year.

Ericsson’s Connected Home Gateway, the overall winner in the category of 'Customer Premises Equipment,' is a complete end-to-end managed and multi-service enabler. The gateway provides a secure connection between consumers' digital home networks and the telecommunications network, and is a single point of entry for, for example, IPTV and communication services.

The 2009 TelcoTV Vision Awards winners were announced before an audience of ecosystem partners, service providers, analysts, and technology and business press at TelcoTV 2009 on Wednesday, November 11.
