Ericsson and Suntel Ltd. to deploy CDMA2000 1X network in Sri Lanka

Under the agreement, Ericsson will provide its comprehensive CDMA2000 1X network solution, including: core and radio; value-added applications, such as multi-media messaging service, short messaging service and Pre-paid; and services such as radio network design and optimization, training and network rollout.

Deployment will begin soon with expected commercial availability in Q2 2005.
