Mobile operator Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), selected Ericsson to design and deploy an In-Building Solution to the Bahrain Financial Harbour, covering a total of 380 000 square meters. Ericsson deployed a Hybrid In-Building Solution based on the Main-Remote RBS concept to provide cost effective and high-performance coverage for both 2G and 3G services. The Main-Remote solution facilitates for Batelco to maintain and operate the system from a central location at a low cost
