In this new world everyone, everything and everywhere will be connected in real time. We envision that by 2020, there will be more than 50 billion connected devices. We call this the Networked Society, and it will fundamentally change the way we innovate, collaborate, produce, govern and achieve sustainability.

The Networked Society is about new methods of collaborating, sharing and getting informed. It’s about innovative ways of doing business that will create efficiencies in the public and private sectors. And ultimately it’s about new approaches to resolving some of the greatest challenges facing our planet.
