Executive summary

With Automatic Device Configuration (ADC), operators can take instant action with device-detection information from the core network. The first step is to identify all services being subscribed to and check whether the device can run these services. Then the correct configuration details are automatically provided to the mobile device over-the-air.

Operators will get tools to optimize experience by taking the initiative to inform users about available services and making them work. The following are examples of device content that can be managed: configuration, bookmarks, firmware and applications.
