Competence Development Centre is within Unit Services and employs 10 employees, most of them are instructors. Centre has two big and three smaller classrooms equipped with modern facilities for delivering courses. Practical exercises are being held on real telecom equipment (locally or remotely). Also, some courses can be delivered on customer’s premises, upon special agreement.
In the Catalogue you will find descriptions of instructor-led courses, but also a list of Multimedia Based Training (MBT) courses intended for individual self-learning at your working place using a multimedia computer. Their special advantage is contained in the fact that they allow individual pace of progress through a course. They are based on modern learning techniques and technology.
Introductory courses are organised and held on our customers’ premises, while more complex courses, ie. those, which include work in training exchanges, as a rule, are held exclusively in ETK.
The ETK Competence Development Centre reserves the right to change existing courses and to introduce new courses in line with the developments in technology and functionality of telecom systems.
It is extremely important that participants when they sign up for a course satisfy entry requirements which may have been acquired on a previous course, or through relevant training of some other kind, or through working experience.
