MINI-LINK - E Ethernet interface Unit (ETU)
The ETU has one Ethernet interface for LAN connection. It can be flexibly configured to any of the G.703 capacities 2, 8 or 34 Mbit/s. It is connected to a Modem Unit (MMU) or a Switch Multiplexer Unit (SMU). Any additional capacity of the MMU can be used for PBX-interconnection.
The ETU supports transparency for VLAN tagged frames, full duplex Ethernet, auto-negotiation and full duplex fl ow control for automatic data bandwidth regulation.
The ETU is a plug-in unit to be installed in an indoor Access Module Magazine (AMM).

MINI-LINK - E micro-DXX node (MXU)
The Micro-E Node is a compact, cost-effective and fully managed node, especially targeted for use together with Ericsson Microwave MINI-LINK-E providing 1/0 cross connect functionality. It is made in the same building practice as the MINI-LINK-E, using the same plug-in concept, thus making it possible to plug in the DXX into MINILINK-E access module magazines. This is essential when the Microwave and Cross connect shall be located at base station sites where space is usually limited. the centralised network management system Ericsson DXX Manager.
