Milestone for VoLTE voice handover

Milestone for VoLTE voice handover

How are Ericsson and Qualcomm working together to ensure that voice services, including VoLTE solutions, play a central role in the Networked Society?

Communications + Innovation = Opportunities

We are in a communications paradigm. Broadband connectivity and the related love of internet and over-the-top (OTT) services mean end users are no longer limited to traditional operator-provided communication services. At Ericsson we see this paradigm as an opportunity for operators, not a threat, and we have the innovative means to help drive their business in the new web-based environment.

We can evolve operators’ existing consumer and enterprise communication services business to benefit their customers by delivering better end-user experiences than many of the OTT alternatives, and to benefit the operators themselves though improved performance and business results. These evolved services can also be the basis for expanding services to the web.

As well as adding new functionality, many operators also need to improve the efficiency of their existing communication services. This may require urgent reviews and subsequent transformation of their networks. Again - Ericsson is ideally placed to help.
