Wireless Networked Solution (WENS)

This solution targets the small and medium enterprise market with the goal to offer advanced communication services, typically available only to larger enterprises. A key feature of WENS is that it enables voice services to businesses that require mobility, while reducing their capital and operating expenditures.

A WENS solution can be based on different combinations of Ericsson products. Most common is Ericsson VPN together with Ericsson Multi Activation (EMA) version Personal Service Environment Management (PSEM).

Where an operator has a mobile network and VPN from another vendor, the best approach is to use the Ericsson Network Resource Gateway (NRG) in combination with parlay applications and Ericsson Multi Activation version PSEM as basis for the WENS solution.
