The MSC Malaysia - Ericsson CR Innovation Awards is created as part of Ericsson Malaysia's Corporate Responsibility (CR) Program. With the tagline 'Shaping a Better Tomorrow', Ericsson Malaysia's CR Program seeks to empower communities through communications for a better future.
In line with this aspiration, Ericsson Malaysia's CR program is underpinned by two primary objectives:
To drive communications for all by providing equal access and an opportunity to benefit from the industry's advancement.
To amplify the benefits of mobile and fixed communication solutions through innovation and extending the possibilities that technology offers.
Ericsson Malaysia's CR Program is being carried out through two key platforms - 'ACCESS' and 'CUTTING EDGE'.
The 'ACCESS' platform focuses on providing equal opportunity for all level of societies to benefit from communication services, especially broadband, to enhance their quality of life.
'CUTTING EDGE' is a platform that aims to stimulate the innovation of compelling mobile and fixed communication services that can benefit our communities collectively.
The MSC Malaysia - Ericsson CR Innovation Awards is the first project created under the 'CUTTING EDGE' platform. It is organized and launched in partnership with Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and supported by Suruhanjaya Komunikasi & Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM).
