Competition Terms & Conditions 
General

  • This competition is open to all Malaysian registered companies and higher learning institutions. Foreign companies that are not incorporated in Malaysia but have been awarded MSC Malaysia status are also eligible to participate. Each team must include at least ONE Malaysian citizen.

  • Participating organizations are allowed to have more than one team representing the organization. However, each individual must only belong to ONE team.

  • For the Professional category, there must be a minimum of TWO pax in the team. For the Student category, there must be a minimum of TWO pax on the team and an advisor from the participating faculty/school of the educational institution. 

  • Employees of Ericsson, MDeC and SKMM, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this competition.

  • All entries must be the original work and the property of the submitting team or organization.

  • All entries must not be commercially available or offered throughout the competition period (January – September 2008).

  • Entries must be submitted in digital format using the  official entry form and emailed as a PDF file tocr.malaysia@ericsson.com by 15 March 2008.  Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

  • All entries must be written in English.

  • All entries submitted must be respectful of the rights, sensitivities and culture of Malaysians.

  • All hardware, software, and other materials and resources required for the creation and development of the entries, and all related costs, will be provided and borne solely by the participating team or organization.

  • Selected participants must participate in all judging events at the time, date and venue arranged by the organizer to ensure successful and smooth running of the competition. Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.

  • Selected participants are required to participate in  promotional and media activities, including the Awards presentation ceremony organized by the organizer to ensure the success of the competition.

  • The organizer has the right to change any terms and conditions of the competition or any other competition detail without prior notice.

  • Winners will be responsible for paying all taxes associated with the prizes awarded.

  • Judges’ decisions are final and non-negotiable. No correspondence will be entertained.
IP Rights
  • Violation of copyright is prohibited.

  • The company or team hereby declare and present to the Awards organizer that the application is original and that no part and portion of the application is an infringement or violation of any IP or any propriety rights of any third party.

  • Failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.

  • The IP and Patent rights of the application shall vest with the participant.
