
Fiber Access Terminals (FAT) are primarily designed for Ribbonet® Air-Blown Fiber installations and for changeover from fibers emerging from microducts or drop cables to all types of fiber optic distribution cables.
The FATs consist of jointing cabinets and joint closures that are designed for easy access, efficient cable management and excellent protection of fibers. Products for direct splicing of distribution and drop cables as well as closures with connection panels are also available.

Fiber Access Terminal (FAT) for up to 24 subscribers for indoor and outdoor applications in the drop network. The FAT serves as a P2P access point between the subscriber box located in the customer premises and typically an Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH) splitter cabinet located in the feeder network. The product can also convert into a small FDH using fusion spliced component splitters if necessary.
It can be used for all combinations of fused and/or pre-connected drop solutions.

Two-sided cabinet with a capacity of up to 48 SC (96 LC) connectors. The FAT or ODF consist of two compartments with separate locks and is therefore suitable as a demarcation cabinet between different network owners.
