With tens of thousands of nodes in a typical network, and with each node type in use having with its own individual characteristics, managing a network is a detailed and complex task. That’s why we have invested in Ericsson OSS-RC to capture our expertise and knowledge about our networks and support the wide range of every day tasks needed to rollout new networks and to keep them in top condition year in and year out.

Whatever your network vision OSS-RC can help you reach your goal, managing today’s network efficiently while helping roll-out tomorrow’s.

What is OSS-RC?

Ericsson OSS-RC is a comprehensive domain manager for Ericsson’s network infrastructure. Deployed with operators around the world it  integrates and manages a wide range of network components covering the radio access network, circuit and packet core and IMS as well as a range of other applications. Used together with our IP and Broadband offering it builds a comprehensive solution for total network management of the telecommunications infrastructure.

Standard integrations to Ericsson nodes simplify the management of new capacity and secures existing investments in legacy nodes. At the same time, our standardized north bound interfaces de-couple the network environment from higher layers providing an important mediation function for planning and configuration, fault, performance and inventory systems – giving significant lifetime saving in integration of the total network management system.

Strong expert features help to get the best out of the network and the wide range of features offered on the equipment – and a rich set of SON and automation features help operations departments to meet the challenge of handling increasingly complex networks with limited resources.
