We would
like to invite you to the Ericsson Business Innovation
Forum in Stockholm on June 23-24. At Ericsson's
headquarters in Kista, the world's telecom valley, we
will focus on innovation in the telecom industry and
impacts on society and consumers, covering both
technology and business trends. Ericsson Business
Innovation Forum is open exclusively to the media.
Among the topics to be
addressed, with presentations and demonstrations from
Ericsson and other industry-leading representatives,
are:
Sweden at the
forefront of broadband. Stockholm is nominated as one
of the top seven intelligent communities and has been
chosen as the first European green capital for 2010. How
can cities and nations stimulate economic growth and
benefit the environment by stimulating the telecom
market and IT development?
High-growth markets
drive innovation in the Western world. What are the
latest trends from Africa and Asia, and how do
innovations there spread to the rest of the world?
The leading mobile
equipment vendor became the world's fifth-largest
software company. What are the latest trends in
telecom and how does Ericsson work with innovation in
Silicon Valley, China and Sweden to maintain its leading
position?
Making tomorrow's
consumer experience simpler. Mobile broadband is
targeting the mass market. What are the most important
consumer
trends and what services and
applications will we see in the years leading up to
2020? How will we communicate at work, and what services
will be available at home?
Cross-industry
cooperation brings new services and business models.
What new services will we see as, for example, the
telecom, internet and media industries converge? How
will other sectors such as healthcare and education make
use of telecom services?
These are just a few of the
areas to be covered in the media program. A more
detailed agenda together with profiles of the speakers
will be finalized in the coming weeks.
