Ericsson Telecommunications, Philippines is one of the first companies to recognize the increasingly important role of competence development in the highly competitive and dynamic Philippine Telecommunications Industry.

In response to this challenge, Ericsson Education-Philippines (EEP) was established in 1995. EEP's mandate is to design and execute Training programs to both Internal and External customers of Ericsson and establish partnerships with key institutions, intended to support the continuing education of both Telecommunications and Information Technology professionals/practitioners. EEP also partners with Colleges and Universities to complement and strengthen technology education.

Training Courses offered are in the area of General Telecommunications, Data communications, Transmission Technology, Mobile Datacom: WAP, Bluetooth, GPRS and 3G. The center also offers Applications development and IT Training. EEP offers both public run and customized training courses for its client institutions.

EEP's accredited instructors include foreign experts and local trainors trained abroad in their specialized field of study. The high quality education provided by EEP is both recognized locally and in the region. EEP also opens its doors to trainees in Europe and in the Americas.
