M700 - THE WORLD'S FIRST COMMERCIALLY-AVAILABLE LTE-CAPABLE MOBILE PLATFORM Barcelona saw the first public demonstration of LTE on a handheld mobile device based on Ericsson Mobile Platforms' new M700 platform. Read more
DEMOS HOT IN BARCELONA AND LAS VEGAS It has been an eventful beginning of 2008 for Ericsson Mobile Platforms. Four demos to show technology leadership were conducted at both February's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and at CTIA in Las Vegas at the beginning of April. Interest from both the media and the telecom industry was very high. Demos ran non-stop, from early morning to closing time, at both events. Read more
THE TEAM WINS THROUGH The demonstration in Barcelona of the first working LTE solution represents a significant breakthrough for the Ericsson Mobile Development Unit, headed by Bernd Moeller in Nuremberg, Germany, who worked in close cooperation with colleagues from Business Unit Networks.
